Quote from Ridge Futral:
My greatest accomplishment was completing the first ever Team Tait Tough Event at Camp Down-Range in Clinton, Mississippi. The goal of this event was to teach high school boys how to lead and work as a team to solve physical and mental challenges. I was nominated to attend the event along with two seniors at my school. Before the event started, 24 other boys from schools across the state gathered around a fire as the leaders prepared us for what would be the most challenging experience of our lives. During the sleepless twelve hour competition, we endured many obstacles and covered over 20 miles with a 30 pound backpack. At the end of the night I truly was mentally and physically drained and I had a new perspective on what I was capable of accomplishing. Throughout my life I will remember this experience and I plan to utilize the skills and knowledge I gained from this experience to overcome any challenges I face in the future.
